The Brain Drain, An Icelandic Export

But then we decided to train
A breed with a much bigger brain.
This breed is in such high demand.
We’re exporting more than we planned.
The training—it takes many years.
It’s costing us blood, sweat and tears.
Norwegians just can’t get enough.
Americans, too, like this stuff.
It’s doctors and nurses we sell.
We happily bid them farewell.
They’re sold for a price that is high.
We’re waving our healthcare good-bye.
