Sports Intensive Monday

Opening Day for the Marlins and the NCAA Men's Basketball filled my day. 2:00 PM till about 11:30 PM was a long day, but thankfully I was picked up and dropped off at home in time to see some of the pregame programming, the tip off, and slide into bed easily.

Just about everything else was difficult. The term past performance does not guarantee future results should be printed on anything related to the Marlins.

1) The Marlins need to establish a better system for lines for people entering the stadium. Especially important when a big crowd is expected.
2) Ironic but true, I guess a fly by and show of military force was supposed to be more entertaining than a rain delay in a domes stadium? I've got to remember this is Miami.
3) Seventh Inning was a disaster.  Bases loaded, no outs, double play.  Buzz kill.

NCAA observation, thought Wisconsin was in a good place with about nine minutes to go, I'm glad I don't bet on basketball.
