Middle Tennessee State Crushes Moo U and Other Games That Crushed My Bracket

If you follow things on the internet or more like likely the internet feeds you stuff you might be interested in there are lots of  "free bracket contests" that offer $10,000 to $1,000,000 if you are able to fill out a bracket that ends up perfect from the first round to the final game.  The ESPN contest and group that I am in asks you to pick a final score of the final game as the ultimate tie breaker. lol.

It seemed to me that Michigan State would roll to the elite eight as would WVU.  The "U" is still alive and my final four are ok, Kansas, UVA, UNC, and Oregon are still alive.

WVU played sloppy basketball for them and it looked a little bit like the Stephen F. Austin star Thomas Walkup could have been a finalist in a contest to be the WVU Mountaineer.

More than a few thousand folks thought Michigan State had a good shot at the final four and they were one of the more popular choices to win the tournament.  All I can say is Middle Tennessee State is the best 15 seed I've seen in a long time.

Internet Dust Ups

 A high school classmate shared on FB, something from a 64 year old commercial pilot who had passed a exam to fly on of the latest jets in their fleet of aircraft.  I was also aware of an FAA rule about retirement at age 65 for commercial pilots.    In the U.S.,  there are no  FAA  age limits for pilots except for commercial airline pilots employed by airlines certificated under 14 CFR Part 121 . These airlines cannot employ pilots after they reach the age of 65. However, these pilots may stay on with a Part 121 carrier in some other role, such as flight engineers. What Is Official These Days?

 I would guess most people would understand what Official means.  Just because a person holds a public office doesn't mean everything he might do is official and everything he might not do is official as well. “The modern conservative is engaged in one of man’s oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness". from J.
